MId-Year Expedited Election
The PTA is currently looking for individuals willing to serve as leaders on the Executive Board. We need your help to elect them. There will be a virtual expedited election on Monday, February 8, 2021 at 6pm to elect additional PTA officers for the remainder of the 2020-2021 term and one SLT member for the 2020-22 term. All PTA members are eligible to vote.
Do not hesitate to get involved.
You can nominate yourself or someone else who is interested in any position.
Due to the virtual nature of this election, all 499PTA members must pre-register in order to vote in the expedited election meeting.

You must be a legal parent or guardian of a child in the school to be elected as an officer. Verification will be processed once you have submitted a registration form. You will be sent a code to join the meeting for the night of the election.

Offices included in this election:
Vice President: Assist the President as needed; oversee committees, serve as enrichment committee liaison and assist in development of Quarterly Update Newsletter.
Recording Secretary: Record minutes at monthly meetings, prepare monthly PTA meeting notices, and prepare reports to be distributed.
Corresponding Secretary: Assist recording secretary with duties, including posting notices, managing social media, and maintaining the PTA website.
One Additional School Leadership Team member: Contribute to the evaluation and development of school-wide educational policies and planning; attend monthly meetings and present monthly reports at PTA meetings (2 year term).
