Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for summer camp. My son is currently in kindergarten. Thanks.

Queens College holds a summer camp with a wide range of classes and activities, sports and swimming; many years some of the classes are held at PS/IS 499. Queens College historically offers a discount to parents of 499 students. You can find more information here:

Yes, Queens College Summer camp offers a variety of programs and the children swim daily which is great! The children have some classes at 499 and also eat lunch there. My daughter attended 2 summers and learned how to swim. She was in Catholic school then. Good to know about the discount. Has anyone sent their daughter to Girl Scout Summer camp in the Hamptons?

Yes Definitely, The best things about Queens College is that it provides the discount to parents of 499 student so it is reasonably priced for us also and the activities and classes like swimming and sports are also held over their.
