Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome back to school! This school year is unique as our school is offering both remote and blended learning. Our school community has been diligent in putting together the school program to provide the best education possible under the current circumstances. We thank our principal, administration, staff and teachers for their immense efforts.

PTA nominations and election postponed.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We hope you and your families are healthy and safe. The PTA nominations are postponed until Sept 2020 and the PTA election is postponed until Oct 2020. Both are tentative dates and we will provide updates as we approach these dates.

PTA Meeting Canceled – March 18, 2020

Dear Parents and Guardians,

The PTA Meeting on March 18, 2020 is canceled.

Please also be advised that many events at public and cultural institutions such as the libraries, museums, theaters are canceled. Queens library events are canceled but libraries remains open. Flushing Town Hall and Queens Museum, etc. are closed. Please check for notices at their websites or contact them for further information.

2020 Census Short-Term, Temporary Work

The U.S. Census Bureau is beginning its selection process to hire up to 500,000 census takers for the 2020 Census. Applications will continue to be accepted at https://2020census.gov/jobs through the end of May. Applicants for 2020 Census jobs should be prepared to answer calls from Census Bureau employees starting Saturday March 7, 2020, to conduct a phone interview.
